Flex Rods

 

We took family pictures. My hair is too long for my Curlformers, so I decided to use Flex Rods to give a more uniform curl! I used Lotta Body setting lotion to set and I also curled my hair dry because I didnt want it to take forever to dry! Remember to stay creative with your hair!!

Teaching your daughters to love their hair

This is my 9 year old cousin Sydney and she has never had a relaxer. She wears her hair in all different cute styles. I love to see young girls natural. It shows that their parents are teaching them to love something about themselves without change no matter what society say about kinky hair. 

You know at this age black girls are introduced to relaxers. I know when I was her age my mom already put a relaxer in my hair. I also remember other girls my age with relaxers. 

So I just wanted to share this with my moms for encouragement. She is another natural hair inspiration.
